Error while doing consumption posting

Dear all,

There is sufficient amount of quantity for particular batch,but while posting consumption it is showing error.

Error is: Deficit of BA Unrestricted use.

please guide me to solve this issue.

the issue is resolved.

as there is error while entering a batch means batch has been entered with initial spaces.

What is the status of the batch?

Check with MSC2n or MSC3n t code .

If it is set as Restricted use. Change Status to Unrestricted.

Once u entered in to the screen using MSC2N you will find the two radio buttons.

Status need to be unrestricted.

in MSC2n (Change batch) i entered material,batch,plant and storage location.

there are no radio buttons.

Nitin is talking about first screen after making enter, when you have entered Material, Batch , Plant and storage location,

on this screen header is Change Batch. In this screen Do the batch status as UNrestricted.

in MSC2n,iam able to find date info on unrestricted use in basic data 2.

other than that ter is no tab.

Dear Santosh,

You are not able to see the radio button that our friends are suggesting because in the configuration at

SPRO-> Logistics - General->Batch Management->Specify Batch Level and Activate Status Management Execute-->Click on Batch Status Management is Inactive

Now coming back to your main problem of error of Deficit........

Pls check that to stock you are looking for is available in correct Plant--Storage Location. And if you are WM managed then in correct bin as well.

Then check the reservations also if the batch is already reserved against something else then also this happens.

And fially check the dates also in the posting document, and check that the same stock - batch combination available in that date.

Even after that if the error remains than pls elaborate your transaction.

Hello,

Pls do the following,

Run MMBE

Enter material, plant and Batch number

execute

system will show the stock for the batch.

Click on the batch number (The line should be selected at batch level)

and then follow the path Environment--->Reservations.

It will show you the list of all reservations for this batch.
