New Business Scenario in QM

Dear QM diamonds we have a scenario in mills we have characteristics is thickness width and length in batch characterstics we are created planned thickness and planned length and planned width i have faced one problem i cannot update the batch characteristics in my actual results becase example if it is think ness planned is 4.2 actual is coming to 4.26 then i passed to 4.3 thickness means my materialcode will be change we prepared material codes based on thick ness in result recording screen i dont have any logic based actual results proposal of passed thick if any body done this scenario kindly guide how to handle this business

There is provision of "No.of decimal places in MIC & also in "Class char" .If both are same then there should not be any issue of round-off value .......I think this should solve your perpose.
