PR Creation - Manually or through Projects

Hi All,

How can we check that a PR has been created manually (i.e TCode ME51N) or through Projects (i.e TCode CJ20N)?

Please guide.

Hi,

Simplest way to check is if the material component is attached to an activity in the project. You will be able to see the PR number there in case the PR is generated from project. If the PR is created manually through ME51N you won't see the material component attched in the project.

Hi Nitisha,

There is a creation indicator filed in "contact persion" tab of a PR line item. If it is production order that measn that PR is created through PS and if it is real time then it is created through ME51N

Hi,

Assuming that project through PR use standard document type "NB" system would create PR numbers different to ME51N.

also when u open PR on me52n PR document type would show on left side of PR number.

Standard SAP project PR it is always "NB" if modifcation is not done
