Hello Experts,

I have a 2 pricing conditions with condition class "Price" (B) in the pricing procedure.

This resulted that the first condition type having control status as Y "Inactive because of subsequent price".

Only the second condition type is active.

Please confirm that there is no impact on posting to accounting.

The confirmation is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

     (B) in the pricing procedure.

Though already confirmation has been given that there wont be any effect, can you please let me know why you have maintained two pricing which seems to be illogical.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your reply.

Hi Lakshmipathi,

This is because:

Price 1: Price of Product - this value is not posted into revenue

Price 2: Entitlement - this value is posted into revenue and charged to customer

Any suggestion how I can make a correction?

Regards,

HJMY

Hi maintain Price 1 as statistical and price 2 as a copy of price 1 cond type i.e. put the above cond type as a ref cond type in the definition of cond type 2.

Hi,

Copy the cond type 1 into cond type 2 and in V/06 for cond type 2 maintain cond type you 1 as ref cond type.

In pricing procedure mark cond type as statisitcal..so cond type doesnt affect net value and doesnt hit accounting whereas the cond type 2 will.

Raghu.

Hello

It does hit accounting if the condition is in inactive

Hi HJMY,

This is standard SAP behavior..you can't have 2 price conditions( class B) active at the same time and no impact on accounting for sure..

Raghu.

Dear HJMY,

Seems like there wont be any impact in accounting.

Only the one with value will hit the accounting (the other PRICE being inactive)

Thansk & Regards,
