How to send the data to the Printer using the receiver File adapter

Hi Gurus,

We have files 2 PDF files and a zebra label files coming into Crossgate as part of message, they are going to forward them to our PI system. From there we want to print them to 2 printers set up in a warehouse (1 for the PDF files and the other for the zebra label files).

The difficulty I am having is trying to work out how we can forward them to an SAP printer.

I have come across one possibility on-line, this is to set up our own Receiver File Adapter and use a Java script to send it to a printer.

Regards,

Sreeni.

Hi,

If your printer support HTTP Post Print request then you can use HTTP adapter.

Hi Sreeni,

I think the solution what you got from online is the only way you can achieve your requirement.

When the file is placed in the target directory, use OS command level script that pushes the file to print.

Thanks,
