ME & ERP Master data setup

Hi,

Once I have sent the Master data from ERP to ME, I found I still left to do more configurations coz when i check the BOM Maintenance in ME i dont see the Operations mapped to it automatically ,is this something expected behaviour or I missed out anything.

Work centre which is transferred from ERP is created in ME but I don't see it mapped to Operations, can someone please help me to understand this.

Hi Jai,

What you are describing are the expected behaviour. If you want to use the Master BOM in your Order in ME, you need to manually add these opearations in ME BOM, since BOM iDoc does not contain any operation details. If you want to use the Production order BOM instead of master BOM, you dont have to manually add these operations in ME, Production Order download will create the BOM with operation mapped.

Workcenter is not mapped to Operaions as such in SAPMEINT, but it is under discussions for ME 6.1.
