Delete asynchronous XML messages which are awaiting acknowledgement

Hi Experts,

I have few thousand XML messages in PI tables. I have done the archiving and deleting setup. The retention period for asynchronous messages has been set for 15 days. Eventhough there are few messages older than 15 days which are not deleted.

I found the reason for this. For these messages, the column Ack. Status in SXMB_MONI shows Still awaiting acknowledgement. I have deactivated the request for acknowledgements now from IDX_NOALE.

Now my question is how can I mark these messages as "Final" so that they will be deleted using the Delete jobs?

There are a few reports that can be used to forcefully change the status of the messages.

It seems risky to me to deactivate the acknowledgement in a productive system landscape.

It is Test environment, not Production.
