I dont know what made you to post this question as the field name itself is self explanatory. Based on this field only, pricing in sale order will be fetched.
2.can we use the pricing date in field for any other calculations
What calculation ?

Hai Sai,
In sales order Pricing date is the sensitive field and it determines the price and taxes for the date.
If user changes the date to earlier date system automatically take rates as of the earlier date.
Depends upon the requirement control the pricing date field.
We had made enhancement that User can enter only current or future date in the Sales order Pricing date field.
If any earlier date user enter the it will give a error message during saving the sales order.
And if you planning to use for other calculation, as a standard this field can be edited, have it and plan for the calculation.

Hi Sai,
When u create condition record in VK11 T-code it asks for Valid from and valid to date . now if u are using pricing date in VA01 which is between two dates in VK11 then that record is picked for that condition type.
