Hello Everyone,

I want to trigger an alert whenever the channel goes in error.

I am aware about triggering alerts through BPM, but now i want to trigger an alert when my channel goes in error, there is no BPM present in the scenario.

Please give me your suggestions

Thanks and Regards

Rahul,

Take a look at this blog by Michal to configure Alerts without BPM.

Also, Adapter Engine Alerts are available only from SP 14 and above. Which SP are you on?

Hi Bhavesh,

I am on XI 7.0 SP6.

I went through the link which you provided.

So do meant to say that while creating the alert rule we have to select the adapter engine and specify our adapter type?

Thanks and Regards

Rahul,

So do meant to say that while creating the alert rule we have to select the adapter engine and specify our adapter type?

If you need to trigger Alert Rule specific to a single Adapter then Select the Corresponding Adapter.

If you want all Adapter Engine Alerts to be Tracked, then ADAPTER ENGINE and * for Adapter.

If you give NO RESTRICTION , both Integration Engine and Adapter Engine Alerts will be tracked.
