Handling material type vkhm

Hello all,

I have a question. How do we put stocks if material type is VKHM? I tried using MB1A or MB1C and says message as this may not be quantity based. Is VKHM can be considered as an asset?

Hi,

Go to

IMG >> Logistics general >> Material master >> Basic settings >> material types >> Define attributes of material type

Now select type VKHM and doubble click on QUANTITY/VALUE update

Then put plant + VKHM and tickmark to quantity update and value update

Hi kapil,

Thanks for your response. I checked the path you mentioned - Quantity/Value Updating. I found that only this combination:

Valuation Area 0001, material type VKHM, Qty updating-ticked and Value updating-ticked. The rest of other VKHM combination has no tick.

I still don't understand how. Please help.

Hi kapil,

In addition to this, i searched from this list and found the plant with combination as:

Plant + vkhm + and i ticked both Qty and value updating. However, nothing happened. Error still says " only 0.00 UNT available". " an item with no delivery quantity is not permitted. Item will be deleted."

Still can't do mb1a/mb1c.

But how can i deliver this? That error message prevent me from doing delivery?
