netweaver trial version - Connection refused

Hi.

When I log into my sap gui for windows 720 trial version - i am not able to connect to the server. the following error message appears.

partner : 127.0.0.1:sapdp00 not reached.

WSAECONNREFUSED : connection refused

pl advice as how to disable the firewalls as i am using windows home premium os and norton antivirus and logon sucessfully.

Hi,

Check the following:

- In the SAP Management Console, is the system running(green).

- Have you installed the Loopback adapter

- Disabled Windows firewall via Control Panel -> System and security -> Firewall

- Also Norton might have its own firewall and blocking the SAP ports. Disable and retry.
