SD Document is not in the dabase or archived and locked entries

Hi

I am using IDES system and i am not able to save any orders and system is giving an error in VA02

SD document 12916 is not in the database or has been archived

Further i can see it as a lock entry in SM12.Please help

Hi,

First you need to delete the lock entry using SM12.

Then Check the number range was already exasted.

Ideally u create your own number range spro- S&D- Sales document -sales document Header- Number range then create new internal number range and assign to your sales document type using VOV8 transaction code

Thanks for the replies I tried all these Still it doesnt work As soon as i as i try create a Sales order and save it the system doesnt save it and says it doesnt exist or archived and the lock entries exist in SM12 FOR VBAK

Hi,

Did you check if is the process still running? You may use the t.code SM50 to verify it.

Another thing to do is to verify if is there any message error in your message box (t.code SBWP).

Hi,

First remove lock entry,

Then check number range assignment, if the current number is already consumed/used then system consider it as duplicate entry and it can not save in database
