Hello!
Our company is trying to become an ISV, therefore we developed an application using "PDK for .NET". We are using a MSSQL server as our database server and the only data we retreive from portal is username.
Under "Certification Options" i guess we should choose second option (XI Content and SAP NetWeaver Portal Business Package).
My question is: Is it possible to certify only EB-BP, as we dont have(use) any exchange interface?
Thank you for your answer
Matej
Thank you for your fast answer.
If we certify a "Certified for SAP NetWeaver" endorsement, do we get the title ISV (Independent sofware vendor) or do we have to do a "Powered by SAP NetWeaver"?
Thank you
Matej

Hello,
there's no special title "ISV" available. You are also an ISV if you just have a certified integration that has nothing to do with SAP NetWeaver.
However, for marketing reasons, it would perhaps be better to have the "Powered by..." endorsement, since this is well-known also in the SAP Customer Base.
It would also be possible to start just with EP-BP, and later, if you think you need the "Powered by...", just add a matching NW-XI-CNT or J2EE-DEP certification.
Regards, Christoph
Hello Matej,
yes, it's possible to certify only the EP-BP integration and get a certified integration and the "Certified for SAP NetWeaver" endorsement. Please find the details here:
[original link is broken] -> EP-BP
However, to become "Powered by SAP NetWeaver", the EP-BP standalone is not enough. Please check the link below for details about the "Powered by..." possibilities:
