How to restrict user for particlular cost center

I am working on SRM 5.0 version. Extended classic scenario.

I would like to know " is it opossible to restrict user for specific costy center?"

If yes how, If know why?

Kindly help me to under stand.

Hi Nikil,

Thanks for your reply. It is helped me but I saw in org structure in our system. there no cost center is linked but If I use particular product catagary (material group) I am getting error message as " G/L account determination not possible" but system is allowing only for certain product catagary.

becasue as per my understanding what evr product catagry updated in SRM system with GL account system should allow us to create shopping cart. but it is not happening.

only for certain product catagary system is allowing to create SC.!!!

can you help me to understand why and how system is working here.

Have you maintained a link between your product categories and G/L account by SPRO customisation?

You can do this by giving a default cost center in the org structure attributes for this user's position?
