Hi All,

Can I know how to connect MS Access to SAP-MII and the procedures?

Also what are the Jar files to be deployed?

Hi Parthee,

Do the following steps:

1) In SAP PCo 2.1, create a source system of type "OLE DB Agent"

In Provider Select "Microsoft Jet 4.0 OLE DB Provider"

In Connection Tab select the mdb file

Give the login details if required and Test the Connection

Go to the advanced Tab and check the access permissions.

2) Create an agent for this and select appropriate port type depending on the MII Version

If 12.2 select MII and give a port no e.g 9000

If 12.1 select legacy and give a port no e.g 9001.

3) Start the Agent & make sure its successful.

4) In MII, Create a Data Server of type OLEDB, give the IP address and the port(the port which you created in PCo).

5) Enable, Save and Test.

Hope this helps.

Tony.

Hi Partee

check this blog

/people/manisha.batabyal/blog/2010/02/23/how-to-migrate-microsoft-excel-data-to-ms-sql-database-in-mii-120

same as applicable to ms acess as well.

Just change the path to mdb file

You can use PCo for the same as well.

Thanks

Hi Anshul,

I tried that in PCO but the Agent instance not starting properly.

The Error log returns that .Net framework for ODBC is not installed.I also Installed that but even though same error was coming.

Can I directly try with the ODBC driver.which jar file is to be deployed?
