Hello,
we need different scope of checks for different sales order types;
e.g.
Sales order Europe
Sales order Asia
Express sales order Europe
etc.
Is it only possible to change the business event by a development (user exit in ERP)?
Thanks a lot for help.
Idieh,
It is generally considered unwise to use more than one scope of check for a given product/location/business event. It leads to unexpected conflicts and inconsistencies when canceling and/or re-ATP'ing a sales doc and when running BOP.
I can't think of any legitimate business requirement that cannot be satisfied by using a single scope of check for a given business event. For extraordinary business requirements, the normal solution is Rules Based ATP. It is unclear what your actual business requirements are, so I can't say what is the best Standard (unenhanced) solution would be.

Hello DB49,
We have a similar requirement want to have different scope of check for different customer, because some customer can take exception stock, most of the customer not.
And we also want the visibility of those exception stock, but only avaiallbe for some specific customer, do you have any idea if there is an user exit of badi we can influence scope of check in APO?
Thanks,
Rick,
The standard solution (e.g. without enhancements) for your problem is Characteristics based product check. http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm70/helpdata/EN/4c/642661045f4b55e10000000a42189e/frameset.htm
I do not promote the use of enhancements whenever there is a standard solution available. If your client wants a solution that is both stable and supportable, stick with 'standard'.
Best regards,
DB49
Hi,
Scope of check is determined with the combination of Check group and Business event.
Try to use different check group for different locations and then define the scope of check as different for different check group- Business event combination.
