what are the diffirent types of standard macros?
when is the exit and default macro executed?

Hi,
The MacroBuilder contains four events
- default
- level change
- start
- final or exit
when you load the selection in planning book system calls default and start macros.
whenever you press enter or any change in planning data system calls default macro.
when there is drill down or drill up system calls level change.
at the time of save data system calls exit macro.
As Ada suggested refer to the note 674238 which explains in detailed about sequence of these events.
