hi,
in one of integration process there is a step as follows:
1. container step - the abstract interface name is assigned as a constant to a string container variable
2. followed by send step which in asyn
here i dont understand why there is a need to have a constiner step with such a constant string but no where used....any cluses please provide some tips to understand this bpm step.

Hi,
Try removing the container step and then executing the BPM to see if it makes any difference.
If the string variable is not used in any other step later on, the step might just be an un-necessary one.

if the Container step is not used any further then remove it....normally such references to BPM steps should be available in the corresponding Technical Document. May be we cannot predict why the container was used in your scenario.
