Basic Configuration - Soluton Manager - Import Wily Introscope Agent

Hi -

I've installed SM 7.0 EHP1 on a linux box with MaxDB. I am now trying to configure SM through the front end gui using txn SOLMAN_SETUP and am at the basic configuration screen. Stuck on step6 which is to perform a few manual configurations. I am stuck on the "Import Wily Introscope Agent" step. I am not able to understand how we are to deploy the newest ISAGENT SCA to the SAP solution Manager Java Stack using the Software Deployment Manager.

Once I download the new ISAGENT.SCA from marketplace, where do I put it and how do I deploy it?

and read the "deployment section".

you have to start the remote gui (on the server), point to the flile and deploy it.

About how long does it take for this deployment to complete?

depends on the speed of your system. I guess less than 20 minutes.

Does Wily need to be down for the deployment?

I think it is currently running :

This finally hit the "SDM is ready to deploy - Start Deployment" stage, but it is has been 25 minutes now and there has been 0 progress (looking at the Overall Deployment Progress bar).

What logs can I look at to determine errors? I looked at the dev_dispatcher log and see the following errors:
