No service contract could be determined

Hi Experts,

Im having this message error in the SLFN message for the contract determination.: "No service contract could be determined"

Everything else is working fine:

- my contract has no errors in "organization" tab

- message also has no errors

- product is added to the message automatic

- SLA is calculated

Ive noticed this is a common problem, with many threads, and some of those are solved. But no one says how to solve the issue.

Ive solved the problem, for those who have the same issue check the process below:

1) execute

Customer Relationship Management ->Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Copying Control for Business Transactions -> Define Copying Control for Transaction Types

Find the SLFV | SLFN | Support Notification -> and mark both "Copy item no" and "ComplRef" fields. SAVE

2) execute

Customer Relationship Management ->Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Copying Control for Business Transactions -> Define Copying Control for Item Categories

Create a new entry (if you dont have) as follow:

Source item Cat: SOL3

Target item Cat: SOL4

Copy conditions: Copy all conditions

Mark field: Generate prod.master data again

3) execute

Customer Relationship Management ->Transactions -> Basic Settings -> Define Item Categories

If you dont have the item SOL4 create as follow:

Description: Support Desk Service Item

Item Object Type: CRM Service Product Item

Usage of Individual Object: Item Contains Product, But not individual Object

Text Det.Proc: SRVITEM1

PartnerDetProc: SLFN0001

Status Profile: Service Desk Status Header

ATP Prof: No Aviability check

Org. Data Prof: 000000000002

Date Profile: SAP Default SLA data for item

Action Profile: SAP Standard Monitoring: SLA dates + PSL

Now in the Diaglog Structure, go to -> Assignment of Business Transaction Categories and create:

- Sales

- Service Process

This changes solved my problem.

I have followed all your steps but there is still the error "No service contract could be determined".  What else should I do?
