MLATP with RLT or checking horizon

Hi friends :

i was trying to use MLATP with checking horizon or replenishment lead time .The idea is whenever a SO is created , it should do MLATP check and considerign component availability , give the best possible confirmation.However whatever is unconfimred quantity , it should confirm after replenishment lead time .

When i use RLT or checking horizon , it does not do MLATP and confirms everyhting outside RLT without lookign even the available inventory for component .

What is best way .

It doesn't make much sense to go to all the trouble of creating a MLATP for FGs, and then confirming a portion of the orders to FGs lead time. FGs lead time is always a compromise, based on the future availability of many different component parts.

Instead, use replenishment lead time in the ATP check, but of the lowest level parts in the MLATP BOM. This will give you the best possible MLATP FGs availability check.
