I have done CAD integration with SAP PLM for AutoCAD,Solid Edge V17, Inventor V10 and now working on some added functionality for the same.

recently we upgraded from R/3 4.7 to ECC6

now im not able to login to SAP from Autodesk Inventor 11.

we are running with SAP GUI 640

if i login via sapGUI i can log in but not thru' inventor..

can u suggest me what i can do?

I´m in SAP PDM implementation and I´m going to make AUTOCAD and INVENTOR integration with SAP.

I have downloaded the configuration and user manual CIDEON "mySAP PLM Integration Inventor/MDT/Autocad interface" from SAP Market Place.

I´m interested in getting real customer implementation docs of these Autodesk Tools.

Have a chat directly to CIDEON. They are very good and able to offer WEBEX demos of their software in a production type environment. Its not just CAD integration but allows for full FL and EQ structure creation.

Hello sir,

I have developed SAP-Autocad interface with VBA as middleware

Now I am doing the development using VC++ as the middleware what language have u used

I have started the development just recently so its at a very basic point.Right now I am able to display a form for entering the login information by user there is a button on click of which connection 2 sap should be established.

In VBA there is a library called Sapfunctionsocx which provides u with functions to connect to SAP

Through VC++ r we suppose 2 use the RFC SDK I m using CRfcConnection class for it but it is generating the error as :

interfacedialog1.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: __thiscall CRfcString::~CRfcString(void)" (??1CRfcString@@QAE@XZ)

after a lots of effort i m not able to solve this issue can u pls help me

any information regarding this entire project u have pls do tell me

I m not from the design background basically i m the programmer

i need to develop an interface between autocad and SAP

for this i learnt a bit of Autocad a bit means to the extent required to know about the tool to integrate it with s/w like sap

so if u tell me about the buisness process or cycle it would help me in developing a better and more robust interface

To be very specific can u pls explain the entire procedure of how to check-in and check-out a dwg file.

let me tell u where i m stuck up

I create a Document of type dwg

then i display it, now on this display screen check-in is to be done as far as i know

I have doubt about what is original how is it created??
