Defect Scores used for calculating total Quality Score

Hello everyone,

I had a scenario where based on the defects entered for a specific sample, system has to propose the overall total defect scores and hence the overall grade as a proposal. This should also then propose to the user the final Usage decision. Is there anyway this can be achieved in Quality. If so how?

You can create a Q-score based on defects but you can't have a usage decision based on the Q-score.

You can reject/accept a characterisitics based on number of defects and even create custom FM's to apply your own valuation logic. But the UD can only be automatically selected if all characteristics pass. If any characteristics fail, a manual usage decision is required.
