R3_ROLE_DS Portal Groups stored in Portal Database?

Dear colleagues,

We have been investigating Portal Database for a while and we cannot find where backend roles (Shown in Portal as R3_ROLE_DS Groups) are stored.

Do you know if these groups are stored under Portal Database? Or they are just picked up from backend R3 Database when I search in Identity Management?

Anyway, relationship with other Portal roles or Portal groups should be saved in Portal Database, right? Do you know where?

Hi,

if I am not wrong those roles are coming from ABAP AS data store. UME is configured that it reads role assignments from ABAP application server. So you can get those roles from there.
