DSO Activation Problem - SAP BW 720

Hi all,

My problem is that I cannot activate any DSO on my SAP BW 720 system.

I get message:

Object ZXXX could not be activated

Message no. R7I028

and in the detailed messages there are only 3 errors:

@5C@ DataSource 8XXX does not exist in source system XXX of version A

@5C@ Error when creating the export DataSource and dependent Objects

@5C@ Error when activating DataStore Object ZXXX

All the other messages were green.

I have tried to Replicate Metadata then Activate All DataSources, Restart System and debugging to the bottom, googling and checking the notes, unsuccessfully. All the InfoObjects are Activated, there is not a problem.

Have anyone faced similar problem? Do you gurus please have any idea how to solve this?

Hi,

Thank you very much for help. The problem looks to be solved now.

The issue - RFC connection to the BW system itself.

The settings were wrong..

Hi,

After saving DSO do a syntax check... let me know what error or warnnings you get there...

other wise try this snote
