Text field editable

Dear All,

I am using notification type Q1 for customer complaints where under item Tab text field (RIWO00-VORKTEXT) Short text (after operation column) field is greyed out by default. I want to make it editable for user input. Plz suggest how I can do this.

Hi SP,

I also don't think you can make it editable. Can't you use text field just adjacent to defect type column? It appear in QM15 report.

You can not manually enter valuue in this field.

This field is populated automatically when notificaion is generated ,when you record defect at operaton level & activate notification.

means say you record defect at operation level 0010 then short text of operation ( from QP01) will appear here.
