Automatically trigger notification

Hi Experts,

Is it possible that system should automatically trigger notification when certificate does not recive from vendor at the time of GRN.

Hi,

This is what SAP help talks about

Processing a reminder for missing certificates

You can display a list of certificates, which are yet to come, based on the status of the

certificate receipt. A reminder can be processed once the date of the goods receipt plus

reminder period is over. From this list, you can choose the items for which you want to

print a reminder. The reminder will be created on a SAPscript form.

The settings can be done in QC51 tcode. You can see there Administrative block which can be used.

Dear Vipul,

System may not generate automatic notification after GR as it gets created against inspection lot when you record defects in lot. You can set a defect code as certificate not received if required.

Apart from this have a look on TCode QC55. This gives you all the information about certificate statuses. You can not only acknowledge the receipt of certificate but can send the reminder also through QC55.
