Hi
During the installation there is an option to load additional NC data regarding some IPC standard. What does that feature actually do? I did not notice any additional NCs being loaded into system.
Is this needed for DPMO implementation or not?

Hi,
If you don't check this option during installation, the system will create only 2 codes FAIL and BAD_COMPONENT. And then it implies that you have decided to create your own hierarchy of NC Codes.
But if you select the checkbox, then a bulk of additional NC codes will be loaded to the database. And they will be called in accordance with the standard.
However, DPMO can be set up regardless of which hierarchy you choose.
