transfer of balances between 2 different g/l accounts

hey folks,

I want to transfer balance from one contract accounts receivable g/l account to another. I found fp40 but I think its useless.

Any ideas how can I do it?

FP40 is for transfer of open items from 1 contract account to another .

What are you looking for ??? are you looking for a transfer from 1 contract account to another ???

elaborate in detail to comment further .

Hi Dewang,

I am looking for a way to transfer from one G/L account to another. But this G/L accounts are used for fi-ca. So I dont want any inconsistincies between fi-ca and fi. So I dont want to use f-02.

Well if you dont want any inconsitencies in FICA-FI , then the only recommendation would be ,

reverse the documents , change the necessary settings in EK01 and re post the documents .

There is no transaction to change the balance of recon. account from 1 to another in FICA .

Hi,

If you go into FPE1 and click on ''Enter GL Items'' you first enter ''GL Items'' icon at the tool bar up top.

Then you select which GL Accounts you want to Debti, and then select the GL account you want to credir. Then save,
