Mapping Issue

hi i have a scenario in source field is x at receiver side i am having y field how should i map, can i do the direct mapping for this issue...can u help me on it..

Simply map sorce field X to Target Field Y In message mapping

Simple message mapping will do. Click y on the target side then click x on the source side. Then connect using mouse x to y. Please see sdn for the message mapping help.
