Display Fields of Lookup table into Main Table and Catalog Validity date

Dear Experts,

We are using SRM 7.0 and MDM 7.1 SP6.

I encountered some troubles with the setup of MDM.

First trouble:

In the Lookup table "Suppliers", there are the following fields:

-Supplier Name (DF)

-Supplier ID

In the Main table "Catalog Items", there is the main field:

-Supplier Name (links to the Supplier Name of the lookup table "Suppliers")

My requirement is to display the field "Supplier ID" in the Main table.

Is there an easy way to display this field (Supplier ID) into the Main table "Catalog Items"?

I already tried to create a custom calculation field "ZSUPPLIER ID" (link to the Supplier ID of the lookup table "Suppliers") in the main table "Catalog Items". But when I change the value of the Supplier ID stored in the lookup table "Supplier": the value isn't updated on my custom field ZSUPPLIER ID.

Do you know if the value stored within ZSUPPLIER ID can be updated automatically when I change the value of the Supplier ID.

Second trouble:

In the Lookup table "Supplier Catalog Name", the following standard fields are created:

-Begin Validity date

-End Validity Date

When the validity date is expired, I believed that the Catalog will be hidden, but it's not the case: the catalog is still available for the End-Users.

Do you know how I could deactivate the catalog when the validity range is expired ?

Please, I really need advice for these 2 troubles, I'm really disappointed with the MDM.
