Hi experts,
I've installed RWD SAP productivity pak 4.3 and I have to do a few settings to use RWD Help Launchpad from client side.
I have to provide a file named "rwdhlp.exe" but I can't find it anywhere.
I looked in
- uncompressed installation files
- the uPerform Server destination directory
Please help.
Regards,
Clément Belezy
Hi Clement,
Have you tried logging into the Ancile website http://ANCILE.parature.com
Looking at what is contained within the SPP download package on the SMP I see the following.
CDLABEL.ASC
CDLABEL.EBC
COPY_TM.HTM
COPY_TM.TXT
Help_Launch_Pad <--
LABEL.ASC
LABEL.EBC
MD5FILE.DAT
RWD_uPerform_Client_4.30.0.21.sda
RWD_uPerform_Server_4.30.0.20.sda
SHAFILE.DAT
VERSION.ASC
VERSION.EBC
Also maybe looking into the contents of the sdn files it might be there.
[1600355|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1600355] Installation files for SAP PRODUCTIVITY PAK 4.3
I unfortunately don't seem to have access.
Let me know if this helps.
I can't give this out through Forum unfortunately as this file is owned by Ancile but if you create a message I can give it to you.
Kind Regards,
Matthew

Hi Matthew,
Thank you for your answer.
In the Help_Launch_Pad directory, I can only find *.PAT files to import within Tcode SAINT.
Since last week, I have understood that rwdhlp.exe correspond to the visual basic application launch method of the Help Launchpad.
I'm not totally sure of this, but it looks to me that this launch method is obsolete and/or not provided anymore within last release of SPP. Can you confirm this point ?
However, consultants that will use the tool will connect via browser/activex and not with the visual basic application (rwdhlp.exe). Then my problem is "solved".
Thank you anyway for your time.

Hi Clément,
I am just looking at the "Help Launchpad for RWD Info Pak v4.3 - English" document on the ANCILE Product Support Center where it states
The RWD Help Launchpad product consists of two distinct pieces:
An SAP ABAP transport
A stay-on-top control that is a Microsoft® Windows executable (rwdhlp.exe)
The ABAP code determines where in the application the user is located, packages the
appropriate URL, and calls the stay-on-top control. To install the ABAP add-on to
enable Help Launchpad, refer to the SAP documentation on how to install an ABAP
add-on or refer to SAP note 848560.
You will need to go to the ANCILE Product Support Center (http://products.ancile.com) to
obtain the latest Help Launchpad installation files.
Hope this helps,
Kind Regards,
Matthew
