stock transfer

Hi,

We are doing stock transfer/transport between two storage location under the same plant. Both Storage location are managed by WM.

The warehouse structure is the following:

Plant: 5000

Storage location: 5001 and 5002

Warehouse number: 400 and 500

Storage types: 01, 02 and 920 (standar), 921 (standar) (this storage are just for the example).

So, when we transfer stock from 5001 through MB1B (313 movement type), its goes out from 01, for example. Then, with MIGO (A10 or 315) we receipt the material in 5001/500. But Material goes directly in storage type 01.

Some time ago, the procedure explain it before, was different:

Stock goes out from 5001/400/01 and internally goes to 921 storage type. Then, stock transport order is confirm automatically, and stock disappear from 921. When we recive the stock in 5002/500, stock enter in storage type 921. Then manually we allocate the material into 01 storage type.

Which is the customizing I have to do, to reach again this procedure? The stock must enter to 921 storage type, and wait there, until user allocate manually to other storage type (for example 01).

The easiest way to do this is to create a Transfer Order (TO) from one storage location to another. Move it from 01 to 02 and confirm the TO. That's it.

lets make it simple

since you have 2 different warehouse assigned to the sloc

then on doing 313 the Transfer order should get created and at this time a negative quant should get created in 921

the moment you confirm the TO the negative quant should get removed

now on posting 315 a TO should get created to create a postive quant in destination bin and a negative quant in the 921

make sure on doing this 313 a TR is and then TO is created not a Posting change notice and then TO

also check if the Automatic transfer order is created

Dear Enzo,

Please check below points.

1. SPRO-WH-Activities-Define mvt type.

2. In this path pl check whether movement type 315 has been fixed for source u2013 destination storage type ( source in your case 921/01 u2013 destination 921/ 01 u2013 that is your are fixing the source and destination for movement type 315)

3. TO can be Confirmed automatically - check box will be active for movement type 315- remove this confirmation check box,

If it does not work please let me know your settings for movement type 313 & 315 in a given path.
