Hi All.
I'm installing SAP Solution Manager 7.0 Windows for MS SQL Server 2008. I've followed installation instructions from manual. Server instance service is up. SAP Gui is installed correctly and I'm able to connect through SAP Logon.
The problem is that if I try to access with SAP system user DDIC I'm able to execute some command such as create new user and configure the server, but if I try to execute transactions with the new user just created, system says me that the user is not authorized to use transactions.
Where is the problem? There's something that I've missing during installation procedure or It's a licensing issue?
Thanks,
Fabio.
Fabio,
When you created the new user(s), did you apply any of the relevant roles to the account? (SAP_SMWORK_SYS_ADMIN etc). There are about 15 specific roles available.
You could also apply profile SAP_ALL as a test, but I would recommend that you take it off again as soon as possible.
Regards
Tony
