Host Agent not found for Windows System

Hi,

Currently we have installed SMD Agent 7.3 in our managed systems(EP & Bi Java). Our BI Java runs on AIX-Oracle & EP runs on Win-Oracle.For BI Java we are getting host agent installed automatically with the SMD agent.I can find the host agent hostctrl in the path /usr/sap for Unix systems but for Windows system(EP) there is no host agent folder.Whether in Windows, host agent has to be installed separately,it does not get installed along with SMD agent installation??

Host Agent has been restarted.

Hello,

In SMD Agent 7.3 the SAP Host Agent is automatically installed.

In Windows it should be located at C:\Program Files\SAP\hostctrl\exe

Thanks a lot.

I need to resatrt the host agent. I think for windows we need to restart the services SAPHostExec &

SAPHostControl.Please confirm me.I have stopped them but unable to start

SAPHostControl:giving error(The service did not start due to a logon

failure).Is there any other way I can start these agents.I have tried with sidadm & administrator id to start SAPHostExec &

SAPHostControl but in vain.
