maybe you ran out of "processes" or "sessions" with Oracle...

I would increase both these values as per SAP note 1431798.
Hi,
Thanks to all for the valuable inputs.
SAP suggested me to do an SBP Upgrade/Oracle Patch upgrade and the issue is now resolved.

Thanks

Hi Eric,
Are you asking me to reboot the entire LINUX MACHINE.

Thanks
yes, if this is possible, if not, you can skip reboot... but make sure that no SAP TP, R3trans or Oracle are alive at this step.

Hi Eric,
I doubled the values of processes and sessions using the below command. But no luck.
alter system set processes=160 scope=spfile;
alter system set sessions=320 scope=spfile;
Correct me if I have used the incorrect commands, or if you were talking about somthing else.

FYI - Adding to my first post. I also had an issue with ST-PI component, this was because the oraarch filesystem was filled up and so there was an error
stop, to fix this I cleared the filesystem except the recent two files and restarted the sap system, when executed SPAM it was asking me to confirm
queue and the error got cleared.

Kindly advice.

Thanks
