Batch Management issue

Hi,

Here Before issuing to the production department we need to activate the batch mangement so at the time of Production confirmation he will select the Sale order , Line item and Batch Number and also Final product is also activated Batch mangement and also final finished product batchwise and they assigned to Particular Sale order and Line item , i think it is Normal Process for Make to order. But we don't have variant Configuration . In the material Master we have activated Batch Management.

please guide me what are the settings are required from SD point of view . i have activate Batch mangement in delivery level

apart from that any thing i need to do settings and also is there any probelm at the time of combined multiple sales order with partial quantity through T-Code VL10C & VL10A

please guide me if you want further details Revert,

hi,

It is better that you maintain a Class ie Batch 023, or what ever you are using, so that during batch split it will automatically suggest the batches otherwise u need to enter manually. Sames way i hope you have maintained the Sort and procedure for the same.

I dont think any effect will be their during VL10c.

Hi,

While i am Extending the material system is not accepting the Class

do i need to create a class through T-Code CL02 , and after that i need to assign to the Class Type 023?

What Characteristic Name i have give for that i have to create any Characteristic through CT04 ?

here we don't have any variant Configuration in that case how to do?

Hi,

While doing the PGI i am getting error

VU 010 Document is incomplete: You cannot post goods movement

VL 609 10 Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)

VL 605 10 The batches are not defined for delivery item 000010

VU 010 10 Document is incomplete: You cannot post goods movement

VL 609 20 Delivery has not yet been put away / picked (completely)

VL 605 20 The batches are not defined for delivery item 000020

VU 010 20 Document is incomplete: You cannot post goods movement

and also batch management is activated in delivery line item and when i try to select the batch system is showing that batch and batch is already assigned to the sale order

In the in-completion log is showing like this

I have the done the Charcterstic and Class and assigned to Material Master

at the time of Automatic Batch Determination , i have done some configuration

1. SPRO > Logistics - General>Batch Management->Batch Determination and Batch Check>

Condition Tables : Define Sales and Distribution Condition Tables

Access Sequences :Define Sales and Distribution Access Sequences

Strategy Types :Define Sales and Distribution Strategy Types

Batch Search Procedure Definition :Define Sales and Distribution Search Procedure

Batch Search Procedure Allocation and Check Activation:Allocate SD Search Procedure/Activate Check

Activate Automatic Batch Determination in SD

Define Selection Classes

Define Sort Rules

I have done the Configuration , apart from that i have to do any configuration related to batch management

is there any effect at the time of Combined sale orders with partial qty through VL10C ?

and also i didn't maintained Classification in Material Master is it mandatory to maintained ?
