Different material usage for material master

Hi everybody,

Sometimes there are cases we have one material master with 2 types of material usage. This material can be bought like consumption (material usage 2) and sometimes this same material can be bought like asset (material usage 3).

If I choose one of this options in material master, when I create the purchase order based on this material, I couldn't change the material usage for the right option (consumption or asset).

Do you know how can I change this option during the creation of Purchase orders?

Hi ,

Suggest to post this question in SAP MM forum.Each material assigned to material group based on material group and material type you can create production orders.
