A vendor is the company that supplies the product to you, usually someone that your buy your inventory from. The manufacturer is the company that makes or develops the product.
Actually i was asking how to distinguish vendor from manufacturer technically coz manufacturers are nothing but vendors in SAP coz we don't have any separate screen for defining Manufacturer.
I know the theoritical difference between vendor and manufacturer.
