/SAPAPO/TSM :System error during parallel processing: &1&2

Our planning area was initialized recently and since then we are getting an error during the SNP alerts generation.

while generating SNP alerts in our process chain, we are getting a short dump for each of the process inside the chain.

the error reads as - Error reading planning area.

"/SAPAPO/TSM"

. 290

. "Error reading planning area ''"

Can anyone point out where we need to check. Even without the parallel processing profile , we are getting the same error.

Hi,

Have you done the consistency check for the planning area and tried? If not so, please try that.

even after consistency check of the planning area using /sapapo/tscons, it is failing again with the same error

Error reading planning area.

There are no consistency check errors now.

Hi,

This error "/SAPAPO/TSM 290" occurs when there is error during parallel processing.

Please check planning area consistency check.

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm41/helpdata/en/2b/e9346e13b9ef44bddd49ee419c11fd/content.htm

Check following reports:

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_CONS_CHECK

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_REORG_SNP

/SAPAPO/TS_LCM_PLOB_DELTA_SYNC

Please update us with the latest results.

I ran all the consistency checks , and repaired all superfluos entries.

However the error still remains, I get the process chain terminated immediately after repeat with the same error in ABAP dump

"Error Loading to planning area".

There is one more problem I am facing, there are 2 planning books on the same planning area, one of them when selected with the needed selections is throwing up error "planning area not available" the other is not throwing this error.

Hi AAL123,

Would you try and rerun the step in foreground which you are trying to run it through process chain.

So that we can get the cause of the error and we can proceed further in removing. I think by running in foreground will give us a fair bit of idea.

Is it the case of planning area lock. Please check this also.

Hello,

Please try regenerating your macro book.

Go to /sapapo/advm, right click on the macro book, select "generate macros".

Best Regards,
