Hi Team,
We are missing our backup due to the following error.
BR02 Spliting mirror disks.
BR0280I BRBACKUP time Stamp 2011-08-9 05.08.17
BR0296I Split of mirror disks successful
BR0274E File '/oracle/bwp/sapdata16/awsfact_13/awsfact.data13' not found
BR0280I BRBACKUP time Stamp 2011-08-9 05.08.18
BR0297I Resynchronizing mirror disks.
Because of this we our backups are failing..
We are taking the backup using the EMC Snapclone with consistent option which means that the source LUN data will be the same in destination LUN.
Any suggestions/solution will be really helpful.
Thanks in advance to all.
Hi,
>> BR0274E File '/oracle/bwp/sapdata16/awsfact_13/awsfact.data13' not found
I am asking, in order to be at the safe side that are you able to access '/oracle/bwp/sapdata16/awsfact_13/awsfact.data13' on operating system console?
As an addition, could you execute the statement, below?
select status from dba_data_files where file_name like '%awsfact.data13%';
Best regards,

Thank you very much Orkun Gedik,
THe DB team are stating that they are able to access '/oracle/bwp/sapdata16/awsfact_13/awsfact.data13' .
I will post you the output from the dbteam and update you.

This same database backup is getting success for the next day, it happens some times only for the BWP . We had the same issue for /oracle/bwp/sapdata32/aws_121/aws.data121 and for /aws.data122 in two different dates.

At the first sight, I have doubt about a hardware problem. Because, the error is occured after the system executed the SPLITINT command. Could you check the hardware logs, belong to these days?

Hi,
It is hard to figure out hardware failures without connecting to your system. Under this circumstance I recommend you to check controller, OS, and switch traces. I though that this is a hardware problem because it is not occured everytime and not on the same files.
One another option is applying latest kernel patch and using latest br*tools.
