Hello,
I would like to know how to create universe from Oracle Package. This oracle package has a stored procedure when I tried to browse the stored procedures from the universe - Insert stored procedure, I could not see the Package nor the stored procedure. I made sure that I selected stored procedure option while creating universe.
Thanks
Amar
I think that what you might have to do here is create a standalone procedure to call your packaged procedure. I believe that it's possible to hack access to a procedure in a package that the connecting user owns by substituting the package name for the owner name in the "Rename Table" dialog, but I don't know that i'd want to go that route.
Creating a standalone procedure does give you more flexible security, or course. You don't have to grant execute on the whole package.
