ECC coverage profile mapped by CIF

I am using APO 5.1 connected to an ECC 5 system.

Is the 'coverage profile' on the ECC materialo master mapped to the APO product master by CIF in any way?

Hi,

The simple answer to this question is NO.

However, you can have a work around. You can use CIF user exits to influence this and make profile coverage details write it to extra fields in product master.

now the question is why this is not a standard CIF functionality. I think it is because in APO there are methods available to calculate dynamic safety stock.

And this coverage profile will be used only for ECC purpose.
