assigning user to multiple positions in different companies

Hi,

I'm working a group company, in which by legal entity we have 2 company codes in ECC. Mostly the users are spesific, so there is one person only in company A, and another only in company B. However there are some position shared by one person, example position X in company A and position Y in compay B is filled up by the same person.

When we model this to SRM, is it possible for us to define that the same user id occupy 2 positions in the different company? I see that PPOMA_BBP that there is a percentage which remind me to a function in HR module that one person can divide his time 50% each for each position. Can we do like this?

Btw, we are in SRM 7

Hi Josh,

Please confirm the same person is going to be available in both the company codes A & B since you mentioned that position only be shared by the saem person.

Position is nothing but by assigning the set of tasks/role to be assigned to that position.

Please let us know what will be the consequences if you assign both the positions to the same person.
