HI all

Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0212

Message no. TK094

Diagnosis

Your transport request could not be exported, since all requirements were not fulfilled.

Calling the transport control program tp

"tp EXPCHK DVHK900016 pf=
rock\sapmnt\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_DVH.PFL -Dtransdir=
rock"

which checks the export requirements, returned the following information:

Return code from tp: 0212

Error text from tp: ERROR: '
rock\sapmnt\trans\sapnames\BASIS' : cant

System Response

Further processing is terminated.

Procedure

Check the following points:

Feasibility of the transport control program tp

Parameter settings in the transport profile

Availability of the transport directory and the subdirectories (cofiles, data, log, sapnames, bin)

Write authorization for the subdirectories

Write authorization for the files of the subdirectories cofiles, data, log, sapnames

Release the request again when the error has been removed

Hi Santosh,

Please Check the files are given proper permission through Tx AL11 and the name of folder DIR_TRANS diretory ( SIDADM )

and also login with SAPServiceSID ( It will be Remote Desktop Group )

Hi ,

Kindly chek the STMS consistency between the systems . before doing login and check the permissions of the user <SAPSID>adm , SAPService<SAPSID> operating system ,also check the DIR_TRANS path will be reachable (os level ) .

Hi,

The error " Test call for tp ended with error code 0212 " means import terminates in the phase IMPORT_OBJECT_LIST .

you can do one thing..delete the current queue and implement the following SAP note.

Note 1232804 - SPAM/SAINT: TP_FAILURE 0212 in phase IMPORT_OBJECT_LIST

You can then redefine the queue and implement it.

Well seems like error info is incomplete, but I seems like the entry for uses BASIS in sapnames is not working... it might be corrupted I guess, you can rename it and try again

Hi,

I think there is problem with ftp between 2 systems. I suggest you to manually copy datafile and cofile in your quality system and then add request manually in quality queue and check whether it imports successfully or not. If it imports without any problem then problem is in ftp between 2 server. Then remove all keys from .ssh/known_hosts, it should work.

I wonder how did you get to that conclusion?... why would the files be ftp'ed?... This is in my opinion very misleading info...

Windows Operating system AND no FTP is in Picture we are using Shared Folder FYI.
