Dears

1. During RR i rejected one material in T code QE01

in Tcode QA11 there is three tab(Defect,Chracterestic,Inspection lot stock)

In defect tab if we reject any material on RR it required to display there?????

In my screen nothing was diplayed.. Pls help on this

2.In SAP best practise on QM with Procurment it says that after RR on reject lot

from QA11 T code we need to select

Select the defects item line, and then choose Activate notification or Ctrl+F2.

Actully i am searching this on this screen these defect item line..but i am not able to find that is why i post this thread

Have you recorded defects in QE01? If yes then only in QA11 under u201CDefectu201D tab these are visible. Rejecting results in QE01 doesnu2019t mean that defects are recorded automatically as RR and defect recording are separate events.

However you can link them in QS23 by ticking defect recording checkbox.

Has valuation of all char done & has all char reached to status "5"?

Select the defects item line, and then choose Activate notification or CtrlF2.+

Have you maintained Notification type in the customization QCC3>inspection lot creation>define inspection type.-->here say under "01" inspection have you entered "F2" type of notification.

If yes then "Notification" tab appears in Defect recording screen.

All valuation of all character have done and its status is 5

I am searching defect item line ...Defect tab is there

in Best practise from SAP it clearly tell that Select defect line after RR

i dint get any defect item line UD area

You can record the defect at three level.

1.Inspection lot

2.Operation

3.Inspection char.

If you have recorded defect with catalog type "09" for a perticular inspection lot then Notification will be created.
