Re-Organization Of conditions

Hi Experts,

We are using condition technique at our customer. We use a batch file import method to upload conditions in each syste.

Each time, we modify a record, a new entry is created in the condition tables(including KONH, KONP etc). As a result, table volume is increasing very rapidly. Is there any standard report from SAP, which can be used to delete the old versions of conditions keeping only the newer one? Did any one use any other method to get rid of unwanted condition records?

Hi,

For this you have to do small configuration in condition type detail go to V/06

Then under tab MASTER DATA

There is option DELETE FR. DB - Set with pop up or without pop up

Then you can able to delete condition record in VK12

Hi Kapil,

In VK12, the latest version of conditions are displayed, but not all. I dont want to delete the latest version.

When any condition is modified, then, the previous condition is still in the database. And, when we upload the conditions

again and again, the new version is created and the old versions still stay the same. I want to delete the old invalid versions. How can we do it?

Hi,

The condition records can't be deleted.You have to set deletion indicator for these records.

Otherwise archive the condition records from the system.
