EasyDMs Drag & Drop functionlity Problem

Dear all Experts

I have ECC6 EHP5 and installed SAP EasyDMS 7.2 SP 2

all activities are working fine.

Now my Problem is

In Easy DMS when i drag and drop Word document from my pc to EasyDMS it create DIR.

after it i can modify that word document and working fine...

after DIR creation / edition i log off the EasyDMS from my system

now same DIR number i would access from R/3 system and trying to change that doc file but it gives popup

to chose Data Carrier but my data carrier by default is PC

and original path display as

C:UsersEDIPUBLICROOTFOLDER_FOL_000_0000215AEC74781ED0AFE7BD4AB6E5C49Beasydms test.docx

after clicking yes it gives error popup "Error while setting data in data provider object-

and in status bar ËasyDMS icon pop out , on clicking that icon Easy DMS login page open...

this is the strange behavior

can any body do the same and guide me why this strange behavior ?

Hi Dave,

could you please check if you have set the OLE2 flag in table TDWX for the used workstation application. Because in the past I had some similar reports where the issue was due to the set OLE2 flag.

thanx for kind reply

i have checked table but there is no flag set for OLE2

this problem occurs when i do drag and drop to create DIR in EasyDMS

Kindly do the same process so you have more idea about my problem
