Service Desk - add additional customer field

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

We want to add an additional customer field into the CRM based entry screen of the Solution Manager Service Desk.

One developer we have asked about this wants to repair a screen in FUGR CRM_SERVICE_UI u2026 however I do not believe this is the right approach.

Isnu2019t it possible to customize CRM screens according to your own demand without a repair just via customizing?

Does any of you have some tipps:

- how can we add customer fields into Service Desk tickets?

- how can we change the screen layout to reflect this additional fields?

Hi Peter,

The transaction EEWB can be used in this case, but it is only valid to SAP GUI. The tab generated by EEWB will not display in WEB application like workcenter.

Actually, there is already a feature that add your own tabs to message processing UI of workcenter, but the manual steps are a little

bit complicated. A guide is being prepared, it is still under construction and I get the information that it is planned to publish in the Ramp Up for solution manager 7.1

I'm not sure if it is already released, but it should be available in the /instguides in market place as the ramp up is already in progress.
