QA16 Issue

Dear Experts,

I have issue in QA16.

QA16 is not populating the list of all inspection lots. i.e all inspection lots which are show in QA32 are not seen in QA16.

All material have same MIC.

If you have set the "required" control indicator for any MIC and then attached to it to a plan, then any lot having that plan attached to it wont be shown in QA16 unless you have done the RR for that. So in simple terms:

1. If your MICs in inspection plan are having "required" indicator, you need to do RR and then QA16

2. mark the MICs "optional", then even if you dont do RR, it will be seen in QA16

It's correct and standard behavior of SAP.

1. QA16 displays all those inspection lots which contains completed characteristics (results recording is done and evaluated- up to stage 5), or lots having SKIP status, or lots having long term characteristics, but for which the usage decision has not been made.

2. Whereas QA32, being the universal set, contains all the entries irrespective of its result recording or defect recording or usage decision.
